Registered General Nurse

JOB133 | Full Time

Location: London | United Kingdom

Salary: 40,000 / Year

Our Client is looking for an RGN with PIN number.  No experience necessary but must be flexible to work with older people, people with dementia and people who are receiving palliative care. A candidate who enjoys working in a service that puts the client at the centre of what he/she do as we cannot support staff with special registration needs.

We provide mandatory training and support with NMC revalidation requirements​. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Medication, planning delivery and evaluation care.  
  • Supporting carers to provide hands on care, supervision of staff.  
  • Taking a lead role at mealtimes.  
  • Working in partnership with colleagues/ outside agencies.  
  • Dressings and wound care, catheterisation, venepuncture (training provided) ear irrigation (training provided) peg feeds.
  • To contribute to the personal needs of the individual resident and ensure they enjoy a good quality of life by ensuring a friendly caring environment
  • To ensure that residents retain their dignity, choice and individuality​
  • To provide care for the terminally ill resident and perform last offices
  • To be competent in the specific nursing skills required of your position and training
  • To provide and maintain the standard of care to our residents as required by NMC code of professional conduct
