A market leader in the installation of safety at height solutions is seeking a sales manager to join their team, based from Birmingham City Centre. The company provide fall protection systems for people working at height, re-test safety at height systems and provide specialist fixings. With visionary management, targeted investment and dedication to quality they now lead the UK market.
The role of Sales Manager is to develop and maximise sales opportunities nationally. Alongside this you will play a key role in mentoring new sales staff within the company through good practice.
The position is a technical sales role and will in time provide technical advice to clients and colleagues alike. Working with the estimating team, and regional operations, you will be responsible for generating and follow up potential sales leads as well as identifying new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
To be successful within this role you will need to have excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and on the phone. You will have a background within the construction industry or a civil/technical engineering background, ideally with sales experience.
As a market leader you will receive excellent training, quickly understanding the technical aspect of the role. In return you will receive an annual salary of £40,000, with an additional bonus of up to 10k. A company car will be provided along with laptop and mobile.
