Part Time Sales Administrator

JOB39 | Full Time

Location: Melton Mowbray | UK

Salary: £18k / Year

 The purpose of this new, office-based sales job is to help increase the profitability of the company by locating new opportunities with new clients by cold calling, and in turn booking appointments for the field sales representatives to attend. This is a new, permanent, part time sales job (9-1 5 days a week or 3 days a week full time), based in Melton Mowbray, paying £8k (roughly £17k pro rata, base salary only and not commission based), with a start date of September 2015 (or asap).

This newly created part time sales job is a result of company growth, and it’s purpose is to compliment another full time sales person. Research in to new potential clients, new business development sales calls, arranging meetings for field sales reps, maintaining current customer relationships and sales admin reports will be your core job duties.

The manager is not too concerned with previous industry experience; if he likes how you come across in person and over the phone, his clients will like you too, and that’s a fundamental part of sales! He acknowledges that there are professional sales people out there who are looking for a part time opportunity ( due to family or personal commitments) and he wants to give you a role that fits in with your lifestyle. However, the manager and I will both feel at ease with applicants who have previous sales experience and a preference for starting work in the mornings (9 am-1pm as opposed to 1pm- 5 pm; in the manager’s experience the morning is the best time for sales calls); having said that, there is some flexibility with the hours as the hiring manager is more concerned with finding the right person.
