Occupational Therapist

JOB106 | Full Time

Location: London | United Kingdom

Salary: £22000 / Year

You will be responsible for delivery of effective Occupational Therapy services across multiple sites for adults residing in community rehabilitation units who present learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will contribute to the high standards of person centred care provided within , working as part of a multi-disciplinary team as an autonomous individual.

  • You will plan and provide programmes of therapeutic activities within a framework laid down by the OT.

  • You will fully complete OT specific assessments under guidance of the OT.

  • You will support and encompass all elements of the service users daily structure and routine including care plans.

  • You will assist with implementation and evaluation of OT treatment programmes.

About You

Must be driven, motivated and committed to providing industry leading care and service. Experience of the Adult Learning Disabilities & Mental Health sector is essential.

  • You will possess the core skills necessary to carry out a more specialised role within a community rehabilitation unit catering for adults with dual diagnosis and complex needs.

  • You will have the ability to work without direct supervision. rehabilitation units delivering client programmes adhering to local and national professional standards whilst keeping the OT informed.

  • You will have an interest and knowledge base of Occupational Therapy and its application within this specialist setting.

  • You will have relevant experience in a clinical area or be working to achieve NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, Rehabilitation, a degree or B Tech.
