Salary: 7.20 / Hour

AIM

To cater to a high standard and ensure that Residents receive good quality meals which are well prepared and well
presented in accordance with the menu of the day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Will be involved in the organisation of kitchen staff, providing training, direction and supervision where necessary.
  • Must ensure Health and Safety in the kitchen, including food hygiene and ensure kitchen and associated areas are kept in a thoroughly clean condition.
  • Should behave in a professional and caring manner at all times.
  • To be fully conversant with the Base Values and Service Users Rights.
  • Preparation and cooking of food and serving meals at required times.
  • Planning and maintaining of menus according to dietary needs.
  • Implementation of HACCP.
  • Ordering of adequate food supplies and dealing directly with suppliers.
  • Correct storage of goods including correct temperatures of frozen foods.
